One on One or Group Classes
My approach to music education is fairly simple: assess where the student is,
find out where they want to go, and help them get there.
Whether an absolute beginner or advanced student, a classical aficionado or a metal-head,
I tailor lessons to fit the needs of each unique student.
I guide them through technical exercises, songs, and musical games to give each student
a well-rounded musical education that is empowering and fun.
I teach cello, piano, and composition through the East Vancouver Community Music School in
one-on-one lessons or small groups if friends or siblings want to learn together.
I host monthly "Musical Tea Parties" through the East Vancouver Community Music School for
musicians of all shapes and sizes to get together in an informal setting, drink tea, have a chat,
play through some music, and have fun.
The East Vancouver Community Music School also provides bursaries to supplement the
cost of music lessons for students from low-income households.
